My Newest Book
Here is an excerpt from my newest book titled, Israel: Land of Milk and Honey...
"A year or so after I returned from Israel, I learned that scientists from Hebrew University in Jerusalem had uncovered a date palm seed from the top of Masada. The seed had been covered in sand for over 2,000 years. The scientists carefully preserved and cared for the seed, and eventually it began to grow into a perfectly healthy date palm tree."
Wow! Just imagine. Dormant for 2,000 years and now it lives, grows, and thrives. What a wonderful true story. It warms my heart and gives me hope for the future. Like the Bible story of the Prodigal Son, it “was dead, and now is alive.” (Luke 15:11)
Kindle eBooks of Israel: Land of Milk and Honey are now available for only $2.99 on my website at https://www.amazon.com/Gene-Allen-Groner/e/B077YTVSJZ

Let me tell you about the latest book I have written, titled Creation and Climate Change. I have drawn on sources from NASA, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Geographic, and other Scientific Journals, and I have added lots of color pictures and personal testimonies to make the book more interesting.
I am not an expert on the subject, but I enjoy learning all I can, and sharing information with others. My deepest desire is to point others to our Creator God and his son Jesus Christ. God created the earth as a Garden of Eden with everything we need for our enjoyment and security. My prayer is that we will do everything in our power to restore the earth to its original glory--I believe that's what God wants us to do, and with his help we can make a difference, and save our planet the way God intends--Christ's Kingdom on earth, the Peaceable Kingdom. You will like the book.
Here is an excerpt: "Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the acidity of surface ocean waters has increased by about 30 percent. This increase is the result of humans emitting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and hence more being absorbed into the oceans. The amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by the upper layer of the oceans is increasing by about 2 billion tons per year.
"Can one person in seven billion make a difference? Despite the furor over government reports and international conferences, climate change is a problem of personal consumption. Swiss scientists say humanity could limit the effects if each person used just 2,000 watts of power a year. The average American consumes 12,000. A Bangladeshi uses 300. The challenge is conscientious reduction in the West, writes Naomi Klein in This Changes Everything. Lifestyle choices, such as traveling less plus better regulation and technologies will help the numbers drop."
The Kindle eBook shows the pictures in full color for the best presentation. The eBook sells for $2.99 and the paperback version is $8.95. Both are on my author website at https://www.amazon.com/Gene-Allen-Groner/e/B077YTVSJZ

The Mount of Beatitudes
I wrote this book in honor of Israel and its people
throughout the world.
In 2008 I had the privilege of traveling to this
wonderful country, and visiting the Holy Sites of both Christianity and
Judaism.
I am a Christian.
My third great-grandparents were Jewish.
The land of Israel is where Jesus was born. He was
Jewish, as were his parents and ancestors all the way back to King David.
The Bible forms the foundation of both Christianity and
Judaism, and I love the Bible. It is my guide for everyday living—a gift from
God, and the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When I was in Israel I visited the Mount of Beatitudes,
where Jesus preached his Sermon on the Mount. It is beautiful, as you will see
from the pictures I am including in this book.
I hope you enjoy this book and want to share it with
your family and friends. You will be blessed. Thank you.

It was a sunny day in Kansas City, and my mother asked
me to take my bicycle and ride to the grocery store for some milk and bread. On
the way back home, I was struck by a careless driver in a pickup truck. It
knocked me into the ditch and off my bike. I had a few scrapes and bruises, but
other than that I escaped unharmed. So I got back on my bicycle with the milk
and bread intact and rode back home. Mother met me at the door, and when I told
her what had happened, she smiled and said “I knew you would return home
safely, because I offered a prayer for your safety. God answered my prayer and
here you are.” Then she gave me a big hug and a smile. She taught me that day
about the importance of faith and prayer. I learned to trust God and move
forward in faith.
From that moment on I realized that I could go to the
Lord in prayer at any time and for any reason.
God loves me and he hears my prayers. Divine protection and care are
real, and available to everyone who needs help. All we need to do is ask. I
remember reading in the Bible, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you
will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks
receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
(Matthew 7:7 NIV)
This is the first lesson I remember on my journey of
discipleship, but it was only the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and
prayer.*

I've been praying recently for the best way to get more of my books into the hands of people around the world. Not for the royalties, not for the fame, not for any other reason than to share my witness of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. This has become my purpose in life. This is my reason for living and writing. Having written over 40 books, by God's grace and inspiration, I have recently been going back and re-visiting my writing, book by book.
What I am doing is revising the books to include more of my personal testimonies of the Living Christ. So far, my prayers have been answered with suggestions from the Lord to give my books away to friends, asking them to read them and pass them on to others. This has been hindered by the Corona virus and the need to stay home. That situation is temporary, of course. In the meantime, I have been asking God to show me more ways to spread the testimony of Christ. All of my books are on Amazon at my personal webpage https://www.amazon.com/Gene-Allen-Groner/e/B077YTVSJZ and eBooks at the Kindle Bookstore under non-fiction.
I have made my books available worldwide in all territories, but there must be more ways to expand my distribution, short of paying lots of money I don't have for book clubs online, etc.
So I am writing today to ask for your help. If you can give me more ideas for distribution I would really appreciate it. I am putting out this request on my blog, my personal webpage, on LinkedIn and Facebook. This is the latest idea the Lord has given me. Please answer my request on my email address geneallengroner@gmail.com. Thank you sincerely, Gene
