Biography: Gene Allen Groner is a retired financial advisor and a former United States Marine. He lives in Independence, Missouri with his wife Kathleen, a retired public health nurse. His interests include reading and writing, gardening, walking, volunteer work, and serving as a lay minister in the Community of Christ church. He is listed in Who’s Who in Missouri, and is a lifetime member of the National Honor Society in Psychology, Psi Chi. Gene earned both the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees with honors from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. He and his family are lifetime members of the Colonial Hills Congregation in Blue Springs, Missouri.
