Happy are those whose hearts are pure

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." Matthew 5:8

A person with a pure heart has no evil inside of them. They have integrity, they do not deceive or lie to others. They are honest and can be trusted. They will do what they say and they are dependable. When we meet such a person, we do not worry about their secret agenda or hidden motives. We can be more relaxed and not be concerned about how they really feel or think, because we will know them as they are.

These are the happy people, the people who are blessed (happy) because these are the ones who can be in the presence of God.
