What Doth the Lord Require

What doth the Lord require

Asked the prophet Micah

The answer seems so simple

Be fair with all we meet

Treat everyone with respect

Be sure to share your love

Show mercy and grace to everyone

Be tolerant and forgive

Walk humbly and give God the glory

And that's what He requires

These are simple things

For a complex world

They're not so easy, you may say

But they are right for sure

If done with love and grace

The Lord is pleased, justice served

Our souls are saved

In heaven we'll take our place*
