It Takes Courage

It takes courage to be

Who you really are

To uncover your soul

And recover your heart

Courage to give yourself

Freedom to emerge

To live out the life

God created you for

To remove all those walls

We build around us

That keep us from living

That keep us from loving

So we'll work and we'll pray

To leave that behind us

Having faith, trusting God

We'll live the best we know how.
