Our Birthright

The scriptures tell us
"Cease to complain
And cease to find fault"
Causing each other pain

"Love one another
As I have loved you"
Said Jesus of Nazareth
"Love as God loves you"

Since the scriptures say
How to live, what is right
Why do we question
Why do we fight

Onward and upward
Let's climb toward the goal
Seeking peace and contentment
The birthright of our soul.
