What Does the Lord Require?

"What does the Lord require?"
Asked the prophet Micah:
Be fair with all we meet.
Treat everyone with respect.
Be sure to share your love.
Show mercy and grace to everyone.
Be tolerant and forgive.
Walk humbly, give God the glory.
And that's what He requires.
These are simple things
For a complex world.
"They're not so easy," you may say.
But they are right, for sure.
If done with love and grace
The Lord is pleased, justice served.
Our souls are saved.
In Heaven we'll take our place.

The Presence of the Lord

Seek to live in the presence of the Lord. Sit quietly in His presence.
Let Him fill your heart and mind with thankfulness.
Remember that nothing can stand between you and God.
His love is always with you, even when you are unaware.
Even when you are adrift--busy shopping, or cleaning, or working.
Even at school, the Lord is with you--At all times and at all places,
His love never fails. His tender mercy is always available to you.
Be thankful and praise His holy name.
Give Him praise and thanks in everything.
For the Lord is good, and His mercy is everlasting.
Alpha and Omega--the Beginning and the End.
