A Prayer
Our Father in Heaven,
Thank you for the gift of
Christ and the Holy Spirit, and for all the many gifts and blessings we receive
from your gracious bounty. I am so grateful that you sent your Son Jesus to
live among us, and to show us the way of love. Thank you for his life, his
forgiveness, and for his sacrifice on the cross for our salvation. I pray that
everyone will come to receive Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of their
life, and in so doing inherit the kingdom of heaven prepared by you. May our
faith and love increase day by day, and may we continue to grow in our
faithfulness and our witness of Jesus Christ. In the precious name of your Son
Jesus, the Savior of the World, I pray, amen.

For those who enjoy poetry, let me share a poem I wrote. It is included in my recent book titled "2020 Poems" available from the Kindle Store on my Amazon Author Website.
Forgiveness
Forgiveness comes from God alone
A gift that is freely given
Born of love and handed to those
Who receive the gift from heaven
Offered to all whose need is great
To those whose mistakes are admitted
Forgiveness comes from God alone
And given with no strings attached
How can I receive this gift
What makes me worthy to receive
How can my soul be right with God
When my past is so unclean
Humility makes it possible
Getting on my knees sets the stage
For love and mercy to be seen and felt
For freedom and release
Please free my soul from Satan’s hold
Set me free to live as I should
Live as I know God wants me to
Live and love as I could
Oh my soul the sweet relief
That comes to me so freely
Allowing me to safely come home
To the place that’s prepared for me
The place where sun shines all around
Cleansing me from all wrong
Angels all they wait for me
To soothe me with their song
Home is where the heart so longs
To dwell in righteousness
With friends and family so free
Come into my heart and dwell with me
Forgiveness is not earned
By acts or our good deeds
It comes to us by faith alone
Receiving is all we need
Thank you Lord for loving me
For the gift of you dear Son
For giving me such grace and mercy
Tis my heart and soul you’ve won.

My Newest Book
Here is an excerpt from my newest book titled, Israel: Land of Milk and Honey...
"A year or so after I returned from Israel, I learned that scientists from Hebrew University in Jerusalem had uncovered a date palm seed from the top of Masada. The seed had been covered in sand for over 2,000 years. The scientists carefully preserved and cared for the seed, and eventually it began to grow into a perfectly healthy date palm tree."
Wow! Just imagine. Dormant for 2,000 years and now it lives, grows, and thrives. What a wonderful true story. It warms my heart and gives me hope for the future. Like the Bible story of the Prodigal Son, it “was dead, and now is alive.” (Luke 15:11)
Kindle eBooks of Israel: Land of Milk and Honey are now available for only $2.99 on my website at https://www.amazon.com/Gene-Allen-Groner/e/B077YTVSJZ

Let me tell you about the latest book I have written, titled Creation and Climate Change. I have drawn on sources from NASA, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Geographic, and other Scientific Journals, and I have added lots of color pictures and personal testimonies to make the book more interesting.
I am not an expert on the subject, but I enjoy learning all I can, and sharing information with others. My deepest desire is to point others to our Creator God and his son Jesus Christ. God created the earth as a Garden of Eden with everything we need for our enjoyment and security. My prayer is that we will do everything in our power to restore the earth to its original glory--I believe that's what God wants us to do, and with his help we can make a difference, and save our planet the way God intends--Christ's Kingdom on earth, the Peaceable Kingdom. You will like the book.
Here is an excerpt: "Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the acidity of surface ocean waters has increased by about 30 percent. This increase is the result of humans emitting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and hence more being absorbed into the oceans. The amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by the upper layer of the oceans is increasing by about 2 billion tons per year.
"Can one person in seven billion make a difference? Despite the furor over government reports and international conferences, climate change is a problem of personal consumption. Swiss scientists say humanity could limit the effects if each person used just 2,000 watts of power a year. The average American consumes 12,000. A Bangladeshi uses 300. The challenge is conscientious reduction in the West, writes Naomi Klein in This Changes Everything. Lifestyle choices, such as traveling less plus better regulation and technologies will help the numbers drop."
The Kindle eBook shows the pictures in full color for the best presentation. The eBook sells for $2.99 and the paperback version is $8.95. Both are on my author website at https://www.amazon.com/Gene-Allen-Groner/e/B077YTVSJZ

The Mount of Beatitudes
I wrote this book in honor of Israel and its people
throughout the world.
In 2008 I had the privilege of traveling to this
wonderful country, and visiting the Holy Sites of both Christianity and
Judaism.
I am a Christian.
My third great-grandparents were Jewish.
The land of Israel is where Jesus was born. He was
Jewish, as were his parents and ancestors all the way back to King David.
The Bible forms the foundation of both Christianity and
Judaism, and I love the Bible. It is my guide for everyday living—a gift from
God, and the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When I was in Israel I visited the Mount of Beatitudes,
where Jesus preached his Sermon on the Mount. It is beautiful, as you will see
from the pictures I am including in this book.
I hope you enjoy this book and want to share it with
your family and friends. You will be blessed. Thank you.
