This is a miracle that could only come from God.
Last night I lay awake for an hour or so, thinking about what book I should write next, after I had just finished writing The Resurrection of Lazarus.
No results, nothing came to mind. So I drifted off to sleep and awoke at 5 am with the idea clearly on my mind to write about author Leo Tolstoy—a completely curious idea, because I am a Christian writer who writes books and articles about the Bible and people who are in the Bible, about religious and spiritual matters.
The first book I wrote was my autobiography titled, Journey of a Disciple. Other biographies I’ve written are about Jesus, Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, Mary the Mother of Jesus, Billy Graham, and Mother Teresa.
I write about prayer, faith, spirituality, nature, poetry, and fine art.
Why would the thought of writing about Leo Tolstoy come into my mind this morning? It makes no sense—the Russian author of War and Peace, really? It must be something I ate.
So after I ate breakfast, I went straight to my laptop and looked up Leo Tolstoy, and to my complete astonishment, I began reading about his “spiritual awakening” and relationship with Jesus Christ.
But that’s not all. The title of his book, Resurrection, literally took my breath away!
Resurrection is the topic of the book I just finished writing—The Resurrection of Lazarus.
There is no such thing as coincidence where God is concerned. It’s a God-thing. Plain and simple, a God-thing. Without a doubt, a God-thing.
