It was a sunny day in Kansas City, and my mother asked me to take my bicycle and ride to the grocery store for some milk and bread. On the way back home, I was struck by a careless driver in a pickup truck. It knocked me into the ditch and off my bike. I had a few scrapes and bruises, but other than that I escaped unharmed. So I got back on my bicycle with the milk and bread intact and rode back home. Mother met me at the door, and when I told her what had happened, she smiled and said “I knew you would return home safely, because I offered a prayer for your safety. God answered my prayer and here you are.” Then she gave me a big hug and a smile. She taught me that day about the importance of faith and prayer. I learned to trust God and move forward in faith.
From that moment on I realized that I could go to the Lord in prayer at any time and for any reason.  God loves me and he hears my prayers. Divine protection and care are real, and available to everyone who needs help. All we need to do is ask. I remember reading in the Bible, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7 NIV)
This is the first lesson I remember on my journey of discipleship, but it was only the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and prayer.*

I've been praying recently for the best way to get more of my books into the hands of people around the world. Not for the royalties, not for the fame, not for any other reason than to share my witness of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. This has become my purpose in life. This is my reason for living and writing. Having written over 40 books, by God's grace and inspiration, I have recently been going back and re-visiting my writing, book by book.

What I am doing is revising the books to include more of my personal testimonies of the Living Christ. So far, my prayers have been answered with suggestions from the Lord to give my books away to friends, asking them to read them and pass them on to others. This has been hindered by the Corona virus and the need to stay home. That situation is temporary, of course. In the meantime, I have been asking God to show me more ways to spread the testimony of Christ. All of my books are on Amazon at my personal webpage https://www.amazon.com/Gene-Allen-Groner/e/B077YTVSJZ and eBooks at the Kindle Bookstore under non-fiction.

I have made my books available worldwide in all territories, but there must be more ways to expand my distribution, short of paying lots of money I don't have for book clubs online, etc.

So I am writing today to ask for your help. If you can give me more ideas for distribution I would really appreciate it. I am putting out this request on my blog, my personal webpage, on LinkedIn and Facebook. This is the latest idea the Lord has given me. Please answer my request on my email address geneallengroner@gmail.com. Thank you sincerely, Gene
