Angels Unaware

I’ve always been fascinated by the miracles of Jesus. 37 of them are recorded in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are preceded by the miracles of the Prophets. Moses raised his hand and parted the Red Sea, allowing all the 600 Israelites to safely cross over onto the waiting shore. Later in the Exodus story Moses struck a rock and brought forth water. Elijah called forth rain in a season of drought, and then he brought down fire from heaven on Mount Carmel.

The Prophet Elisha raised a poor woman’s son from the dead, and then he witnessed Elijah being carried up into heaven while he was still alive. I could go on and on. These stories of miracles happened centuries ago. But what about today? That’s the subject of this book. Look for them because they are all around us.

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” __Hebrews 13:2.
